Sally Gunnell OBE remains the only British woman ever to hold four major track titles concurrently – Olympic, World, European and Commonwealth golds. Sally inspired the nation in her years of competitive athletics. Since then, she's built a successful career in television presenting, public speaking and wellbeing advocacy. 

Now, TGO Activate has teamed up with Sally Gunnell and National Parks, with the goal of inspiring you to activate your inner Olympian! Make the great outdoors into your gym with Sally's Great Outdoor Workouts course, which includes walking (moderate, fast, incline and hill climbs), jogging, 75+ bodyweight activities, TGO gym routines with off kit alternatives, mindfulness and motivational tips, as well as short movement breaks to do at home. And you're doing your bit for the planet too: TGO Activate donate 33% of the profits to National Parks for reinvestment into the conservation of their green spaces including biodiversity projects and tree planting.

Course features

  • 4 x interval walking, hill climbs and jogging routines with bodyweight sequences to build muscle tone and strength
  • 3 x TGO gym or local park workouts with off-kit alternatives for every gym activity

  • Available from Thursday 26th August 2021, The Great Outdoor Workouts with Sally Gunnell and the National Parks is a course with workouts tailored for our most accessible outdoor activity settings, including free-to-use National Parks, TGO outdoor gyms and green spaces nationwide.
  • The course promotes the physical and mental health benefits of walking or jogging in beautiful National Parks across England, Scotland and Wales.
  • Sally also demonstrates 75+ bodyweight activities throughout the course, moves for all ages to build stamina, muscle strength and bone density over time. There are also bodyweight activity A to Z videos included with this course, so it's easy to check back on the technique for all Sally's activities.
  • This course is designed to fit with time pressures in your life too. Choose between:
    • 9-12 minute movement breaks to do at home;
    • 13-21 minute workouts for your nearest park or TGO gym;  
    • Walking/ jogging routines with mindfulness and motivational tips, which can be completed in 20-25 minutes or extended to several hours in your favourite green space.
